Support Organization for Rural Development in Madagascar
The Aga Khan Foundation has been active in Madagascar since 2005, initially in the Sofia Region. In 2012, the Foundation set up the Support Organization for Rural Development in Madagascar (OSDRM), an association under Malagasy law, to manage its projects and programs. From 2014, the OSDRM extends its roots in the North of the country (regions of Diana, Sava, Sofia) and initiates activities in the Analamanga region.
BOOST-OI offers an inventory of agricultural research and development projects in the southwest Indian Ocean region to meet the challenges of sustainable development and adaptation to climate change posed to stakeholders in the area.
