AD2M II is an integrated rural development project aimed at the emergence of agricultural development poles that integrate productive development with resilient techniques and means of production, land tenure security, sustainable management of natural resources and support for agriculture. market access.

Goals

The general objective to which the project contributes is: farms in the Menabe and Melaky regions sustainably improve their income and their food security .

The specific objectives of the project are: (i) EAF production systems that are efficient and resilient to climate change are adopted on a large scale and; (ii) Producers' access to remunerative markets, within the framework of prioritized sectors, is improved.

Expected results

• 12,000 land certificates issued
• 35,000 households (60%) benefit from production systems and practices that are resilient to the effects of Climate Change
• 15,000 producers adopt improved techniques
• Increase of at least 40% in the average yield of the main crops supported
• 9,100 ha of developed hydro-agricultural perimeters
• 250 tons of quality seeds produced
• 4,700 vulnerable people supported by micro-projects
• 4,600 new active members/beneficiaries of Microfinance Institutions (MFIs)
